Welcome to Amynuo (Mind Mirror AI). We aim to be a trustworthy intelligent companion. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the controls available to you. Our core principles: we collect only the information necessary to provide the service; we never sell your personal information; and we treat sensitive information such as emotional, psychological, and health data with particular care, processing it only after obtaining your separate consent.
To deliver our features, we collect: (1) Account information: your phone number (required for registration/login), an encrypted password, and your gender, date of birth, and time of birth (used for BaZi/energy features; these may be skipped). You may also optionally provide an emergency contact. (2) Your conversations with Amy, and the memories, personality profile, and reflection records derived from them. (3) [Sensitive personal information — processed only after your separate consent]: emotional states, psychological states (such as stress, sleep, and emotional vulnerability), self-harm or crisis risk signals, and health-related information such as blood type that you reveal in conversation or provide voluntarily; and, after you grant system health permissions (such as Apple Health), physiological data such as heart rate, heart-rate variability, sleep, and step count — used solely for companionship, emotional support, and state insight. We follow the principle of data minimization. [We currently do NOT collect]: your precise location; biometric information such as facial or voiceprint data (the in-app identity authentication is an experiential feature only and does not collect or retain your face/voiceprint); or device advertising identifiers. After voice messages are transcribed into text, the original recordings are not retained.
Your conversations with Amy are processed on our servers to generate replies, build your personalized memory, and understand your emotions and state, so that the companionship fits you better. To produce natural, high-quality replies, some conversation content and the context necessary to provide the service are sent to entrusted AI model providers for processing (see Section 7). We do not use your personal information for purposes unrelated to the service, nor for automated decision-making that produces a significant adverse effect on you.
About your talent profile: To make "Talent Decode" reflect your real experience, in addition to what you actively answer in the assessment and interview, Amy also passively notices, from your everyday conversations, cues about "learning or doing something" — for example, that you picked something up quickly, or felt energized (or drained) after doing it — and uses them to supplement your talent signals. This process does not change how Amy talks with you and never proactively questions you for it; it only takes note when you bring something up yourself. Every inference keeps your own words as its basis, and you can mark any item as "this isn't me" on the talent page. Like your other data, these inferred talent signals can be exported at any time or deleted together with account cancellation (see Sections 4 and 5).
Data is transmitted over encrypted channels (TLS); sensitive data is encrypted at rest on our servers, with access controls and other technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or tampering. Retention: chat sessions and messages are, by default, automatically cleared after about 90 days; memories gradually weaken or are deleted according to their importance, following a "forgetting curve"; basic account information is retained for the lifetime of your account; where the law requires otherwise, those requirements prevail. After you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with the law. We do not sell your data or use it for purposes unrelated to the service.
You have the right to access, correct, and export your personal information; delete individual memories or conversations; withdraw consent you previously gave; and delete your account. You can delete your account directly in the app via "Settings → Account → Delete Account"; after password confirmation, we will immediately deactivate the account and delete or anonymize your data in accordance with the law. You may also request deletion by emailing privacy@amynuo.com. You can also manage options such as protection modes in the app's privacy settings.
Enables age-appropriate content, usage limits, and enhanced data protection for users under 18.
Requires setting an emergency contact. Enables risk monitoring for fraud and loneliness.
To provide the service, we entrust necessary data to the following providers for processing, and require that they not use it beyond the agreed scope or for their own model training: · Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (DashScope): processes conversation content (including the context needed to generate replies), speech recognition (your voice recordings), speech synthesis, and text vectorization; · Alibaba Cloud Phone Number Verification: processes your phone number to send verification codes; · Tuya Smart (only when you use smart-hardware features): processes device identifiers and control commands. The servers of the above providers are all located within mainland China. [We currently do NOT engage in any cross-border transfer of personal information.] If in the future we adopt overseas providers (such as overseas AI, crash monitoring, or payment services), we will notify you separately in advance, obtain your separate consent, and complete the legally required cross-border data-export procedures. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. For material changes (such as substantive changes to the types of information collected, the purposes of use, or the sharing recipients), we will prominently notify you via in-app notification or SMS, and obtain your consent again where necessary. Continuing to use the service indicates your agreement to the updated policy.
Amynuo is intended primarily for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with the accompaniment and guidance of a guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14; to provide services to a child under 14, the child's guardian must first read and agree to this policy and the dedicated rules for protecting children's personal information. We provide a "Minor Protection Mode" to strengthen content and data protection. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected a child's personal information, please contact privacy@amynuo.com and we will promptly verify and delete it.
